History of Coyote Hill Lodge

Coyote Hill Lodge was born around a vision of an architect named Jack Holland. When he got the idea that he wanted somewhere where his family could get away from it all, he went on a road trip around the Western United States, and came upon Pagosa Springs, Colorado. There, he found the perfect place; a 235 acre piece of property that sits right at the base of the San Juan National Park.

Jack took his wife, Pat, his children and grandchildren out to see it and started designing. He wanted to create the Lodge where each family could have their own space but still be able to socialize with the entire extended family. Coyote Hill Lodge was constructed in 2005 with Jack even doing some of the carpentry work. His wife and daughter did the interior design in the lodge as well. The family has spent many happy times here and still continues to do so.
