Early arrivals & late departures are based on availability. Please check with the property manager in advance to see if we can accommodate that request.
A valid photo ID/passport is required at check in.
A valid credit/debit card is required at check in. We place an authorization for incidentals. It can take your bank 7-10 business to return the funds to you after you check out.
Please do not block the entrance to the lodge. We also ask you to be considerate to other guests so that they can back up and get out of the driveway.
Please do not leave food of any kind in your vehicle. This can attract wildlife.
10PM to 7AM – We do ask this as a courtesy to other guests and the property manager that loud music, yelling, slamming doors, running down the hallway or loud talking out on balconies during these hours are strictly prohibited.
Please refrain from going into areas labeled as “private”. The property manager also lives on site. Please do not enter their unit for any reason.
Smoking/vaping is prohibited inside of the lodge and within 15 feet of all doors. We do have a designated smoking/vaping area down by the firepit. Please never dispose of your butts anywhere other than the proper receptacles. If you smoke in the room, you’ll get charged $250. Marijuana is legal in Colorado, and we are a 420-friendly property. Guests are welcome to partake outside and with respect to the other guests.
Parties and Events
We do ask that there are no parties unless you have previous approval from your host. If you are renting a suite and would like to hold a gathering, you must first speak with the property manager.
We have a washer, dryer, and laundry detergent available for use. If you need to use the laundry, please let the property manager know so that they can make sure it’s available during the time you need to use it. Also, please be courteous to other guests who might need to use the laundry facility. Do not leave your items in the wash or dryer for someone else to take care of. Also, please empty the lint after you use the dryer.
Common Areas & Shared Living Spaces
These areas consist of the main entry, main kitchen, upper loft, and basement game room. These are shared areas by all guests. We ask that you please clean up after yourselves, wipe down counters, stove, floor if you drop something, clean dishes & put them away after use and empty the trash if it’s full.
We do have a grill located just off the kitchen on the balcony. We do ask that you clean the grill after you use it.
Garbage & Dishes
Please put dishes in the dishwasher. Please dispose of garbage and place in the garbage bins in the main area.
The upper balcony has some wonderful views to watch wildlife. Please remember that guest units are located along the balcony. We do ask that if you want to use your balcony space, be considerate to the other guests. Do not move balcony furniture. Do not leave food or dishes out on the balcony as this attracts pests & wildlife. There is no smoking/vaping on the balcony or deck areas.
Pets are allowed with prior approval from the property manager. We do have dogs on the property.
$25 non refundable fee. 2 dogs per room max.
Dogs must be leashed and under control at all times, and kept quiet inside guest rooms. Guests are required to pick-up pet waste. If you choose to leave your pet in your room while you are away, we do ask that they are kept in a kennel to avoid possible damages or accidents. We do offer a dog kennel in our pet friendly unit if needed. Do not leave your pet in a vehicle. Pets are not allowed on furniture, in the showers/bathtubs, nor should they use guest towels and linens. Doggy beds, blankets and towels are provided upon request at no additional charge. We do offer dog walking services and potty breaks if you need someone to let your dog out while you are exploring the area. Please arrange that with the property manager first.
Unauthorized pets are prohibited, and guests may be asked to leave without refund.
We do have security cameras in the common areas for guest’s safety. Remember we are located next and in a national forest, so this means we do have bears, mountain lions, coyotes, wolves, fox, elk, deer, chipmunks, prairie dogs and other wildlife that come through the area. We just ask you to be aware they are around. There is nothing to be afraid of, just be aware when you go outside, especially with pets. Therefore, we ask that dogs are leashed.
Damages & Breakages
We understand accidents can happen. But please report any damages and of anything breaking in a reasonable timely manner. We can arrange for the damage to be fixed or replaced. We do expect the guest to pay for damage and we will provide an estimate to the guest.
Check Out Arrangements
Check out is at 10am. If you need a late check out, please contact the property manager in advance for availability. All keys must be returned upon checkout.
Emergency Contact Information

Snow – Ice – Other Weather Elements
When visiting during winter months, we do recommend having a AWD/4WD vehicle as it can be extremely difficult to get to the lodge. We do regularly plow snow from the driveway, walkways, front doors, and balcony, but it is not guaranteed that there will be no ice. Please use caution when moving around the property.
